1:1 education
Clients with Diabetes can be managed by their GP under enhanced primary care (epc)
They are eligable for up to 5 allied health visits per calander year

Group education
Clients with Diabetes are eligible for Medicare rebates for group services on referral from a GP
This service is in addition to the 5 allied health individual referrals
The client must have a GP management Plan
(item 721) in place. They do not need Team Care Arrangements in place
The group may be conducted by a Diabetes Educator, Exercise Physiologist or Dietician and includes 8 sessions per calander year
